Will’s Birthday Bash!

Happy 1st Birthday to my buddy, Will! Yes, Will and I are only one week apart, but he had to wait until all the special people in his life could be there to celebrate and so he waited until May 16th to be exact and it was well worth the wait, I might add! There were monster-faced cupcakes, balloons, and lots of other yummy foods.

The Raffs and Rennas!

Will enjoying his very own cupcake!

I thought I would get in on the action. Mmm! Somewhere along the way I lost my pants and stuck my hand in a hot cup of coffee, but don’t worry I’m okay. Woo-Wee! That was some party!

Mama’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mommies out there! My mama and I had a fun day in NH. I didn’t take a nap because I didn’t want to miss a moment with my mama on her special day. We played outside, shopped, and visited with the grandparents. I made mama a card (dada helped). She loved it!

Weeeeee!

Muah!

I’m a statue.

Are you ready?

I’m gonna get you!

Hello world!

Daddy calls me his little polar bear. Grrr!

Roar!

Today was hot and sticky! Temps soared into the upper 80′s! Mommy, Daddy, and I headed out on a little adventure to find clean water. Two million people in and around Boston are without water they can drink, cook with, or bathe with. A water main break that occurred yesterday has caused our favorite coffee shops to close, forced us to boil water for everything, and take sponge baths. I’m not letting it get me down. We stopped and played in a park in Harvard. I had a blast if you can’t tell…Oh, and we found clean water!

That’s right, ROARRR!

Here I come!

Snap, Snap, Snap! Another photo shoot.

Mommy’s shot.

Hmmm…what’s this?

I take pictures too! Daddy taught me how.

It’s a family Polaroid shot!

Hi.

Coolin’ At the playground…ya know!

Another fun filled day at the playground with the parents. We strolled to the one on the bike path, Lexington playground. We have so many. The one across the street from our house will be done soon. I can’t wait! I felt very grown up today. I can do it, Mommy. Please stop shadowing me.

I’m pretending I’m the captain.

Peek-a-boo never gets old, Ha!

Hmmm…can I climb these bars?

Okay, maybe I need a little helping hand.

My floating head…cool.

What’s that kid doing on my swing?

Hi.

Mommy’s always hugging me…I guess it’s kind of nice.

Yahoo for Spring!

I know, I know, it’s been too long. Sorry, there’s no excuse. So, let me fill you in on the past couple of weeks…We’ve had 80 degree days and 40 degree days, confusing! The pics below are from some of the warmer days and boy, did that make me giddy! Mama and Dada celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary and spent an overnight in Providence, RI without me! I know they really missed me because Mama called a lot, but I had a blast with my Nana Newhouse! I say Nana at least 20 times a day now! Thanks Nana, let’s have another sleepover soon. Dada took a few days off and we did some family bonding. We went to the Stone Zoo, meh. We can check that off the list. It rained a lot the past few days, but we still had fun. See the other post below for pics and a blurb on today’s day trip to Plymouth, MA.

Frolicking in the Square

Do I look like my Dada?

Yep, that’s whipped cream, jealous?

Bye-Bye. See you all next time.

Destination Plymouth

Today we took a drive to Plymouth, MA to see the Pilgrims. Mommy saw one in the ladies room! I saw Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower (not the real one). We strolled the streets and ate seafood. Mmm…I like haddock! We embraced our inner New Englander, that’s what Mama said. Happy Patriots’ Day!

Me and Mama in front of the Mayflower. Cool.

Me and Dada in front of the Mayflower.

Sophie is still my pal.

I ♥ drums!

Easter, Wagon Rides and Jungle Gym Fun!

The Easter bunny came to Nana’s! I was pretty excited. Next year he’s going to leave eggs with prizes for me to find. That should be fun : )

Check out my new wagon! Thanks Nanny and Uncle John.

I had to try out all positions. It’s a keeper!

Swingin’ at the playground with Mommy and Grandpa Lyon. Yep, Grandpa Lyon flew in to see me again. How lucky am I ?

The playground was fun. Can we go again tomorrow, Mommy!?

It’s My Party!

My Daddy worked so hard making my first feature length film! It spans my entire first year of life in 7 minutes. We had a screening at my party, of course!

I missed my Mommy on Saturday. She was in the kitchen for twelve hours making 5 dozen cupcakes from scratch!

Goodies for my buddies.

One!

I look like Daddy, except my beard’s made of chocolate!

Homemade banana cake with chocolate frosting just for me. Yum! Oh, and a King has to have a crown!

I can see just fine, Grampa Lyon.

Avery Lou likes to ride on her Daddy’s shoulders too!

Cousin Gabe helped me celebrate. He’s a pro at the age of 3!

My best bud, Will, had a good time at my party! He planted a big wet one on Avery. High five!

I got so many cool gifts. Thanks everyone!! Can’t wait for next year’s bash!

Taxidermy And Cupcakes…It’s My Birthday!

I’m one year old today! Yay me! Mommy made me pancakes for breakfast, then I had a good nap to rest up for my big day at the Natural History Museum at Harvard University. Wow! So many stuffed animals! Really cool. We scoped out the campus too for my future admission. To top it all off I opened presents, Uncle Mike visited, and I ate my first organic carrot cupcake. Yum! I’m just getting started with this whole birthday thing. Bring on the celebrations!!

Yeah, I’m so big!

You don’t scare me, bear.

This place is awesome!

Listen up everybody. I’m one today!

I don’t know how to say “cheese” yet…
